How to prepare Asun (Roasted Goat Meat)
Home made Asun (roasted goat meat) recipe
2. Scotch bonnet Pepper
3. Onion
4. Seasoning cubes
5. Salt
Step2. Dry with kitchen tissue and grill to cook till the meat is brown. You can use the local charcoal stove to grill your meat.
Step3: Chop meat into small bite size pieces
Step4: Place in a pot and add the onion, sprinkle a very little water to cook meat a little further and prevent meat sticking to pot. Cook for 3-5 minute
Step5. Mix seasoning, pepper and salt. Adjust pepper to your tolerance level.
Step6: Add the mixed pepper, seasoning and salt. Then keep stirring continuously for another 4-5 minutes.
Remove the pot, asun is ready to be served. Serve with any chill drink of your choice.
Female “native” goat works best for Asun. The meat cooks fast and the skin is softer.Ask the butchers when buying.
